Wearing a mask when one hsa a cold is one of the customs i really wish people in the west would adopt.

I work at a federal agency, and we have tons of these pens. There's a little silver mixed in the plastic, which theoretically has some antibacterial effect. Sounds minimal to me.

The WHO announced that the masks basically do nothing. Japanese people wear them to instill a false sense of security on those around them because they will go into work when they are ill.
