Glen Whitman update

The economist and blogger.  He is now a screenwriter for Fringe.  But not just; he remains an excellent economist.  Thanks to several MR readers for the pointer.

Hope he's not too deep in the batting order or he may never get to step to the plate.

The debut was not very good.

I was also a little disappointed about last night. HOpe not every episode has such a nice and tidy bow that wraps it up like that one. I had this scary feeling this was like the House version of X-files, where every week we get to see a new case of fringe science with fringe killers, but in the end, the fringe killer gets caught. Hopefully I'm wrong and it won't be that.

Fringe is an absolutely horrible show.

Haven't seen the show, but if it's anywhere near as frightening as the beatdown he gave me (and everyone else) in college parliamentary debate, it'll be quite something.
