Fringe illustrates an interesting thing about the television networks. Even though the networks have television production arms, they often create series for the other networks. Fringe is produced by Warner Bros. Television, but is not going to appear on the CW (50% owned by Time Warner), but rather on FOX.

Tyler, how long does it take to post a Bloggingheads?
And John Thacker, I was surprised that they were hawking American Idol merchandise when I went to the CBS lot for my formal induction as an Angelino, attending a Price is Right screening.

That was a pretty amusing discussion of ABCT (the preferred nomenclature, by the way, not ATBC). Apparently modern libertarians support the Austrians because of Ayn Rand, or so I "learned" at the site.

Bob,
You also learned that libertarians have little influence on politics (right now that's a compliment). I guess Rand's influence on Greenspan notwithstanding.=
But, if I'm right, the number of people I saw in a video of the rally just might be enough to swing the vote.
And, how does the ABCT swag with our current economic situation? I'm asking. I think damn good.

*numbers i use have median fam income @ 52,600-->we ain't exactly po
*counting benefits workers receive 25% more in real terms than 25 years ago
*availability of high quality goods exploding: dogfishhead beer, 52 inch plasmas, minicoopers: doesn't every freshman at gmu have an ipod
*those darn mexicans are working double shifts seven days a week in chickenhouses and loving it, sending lots--in relative terms--of cash home; they're marrying poor white women and their kids are teaching them english, there
*increasing inflation and a general global slowdown have not slowed down gdp growth
*the singularity is near
they're o.r scrubs
