While I was hoping the "love economics" site wasn't intended to be serious (valid topic, terrible and often creepy execution), apparently it is. I wonder if he's been kissed yet.

The Altman article on economic freedom and economic growth has some great charts.

All the usual caveats apply with such correlations (and perhaps equally interesting, non-correlations), but they're useful to see.

Wow, property rights, sound money, and free trade have the biggest effect on per capita gdp growth. I'm pretty sure only one politician has claimed those positions as his own this election season.
