The best question I read yesterday
If you already wrote a memoir about having obsessive compulsive disorder a few years back, are you allowed to publish a new memoir about your hypochondria?
That is from Bookslut.

I think it is both logically and medically consistent for someone to publish memoirs of obsessive compulsive disorder, hypochondria, and other crazy symptoms as long as he/she tops them up with a memoir of multipolar disorder. It is like a Ph.D thesis consisting of several disjointed and potentially contradictory essays united by a crazy theme.

After a little amazon research, my suspicions were confirmed--I totally read that memoir of OCDness. For what it's worth, I have long known I had OCD and in the past couple years have been having some moderate hypochondria. I don't see how the two don't go together. I am just obsessing about my health instead of counting things or whatever.

As someone who has suffered from both OCD and
Hypochondria, they are very much related.
The cure is often similar as well

A denial of one's eventual demise, and a fear of living in the present. A fear of failure, and a denial of ones' right to
succeed. Opposites on each spectrum, but having the very same impulse - an avoidance of the unknown.

I recently asked a fellow runner if he felt that he obsessed about his running. He replied, "I find that if I run every day, I don't obsess about it." Works for me.

The best question? Really? If paranoids can really be persecuted, can't hypochondriacs actually get sick? And if OCD is an illness, why can't they both exist in the same body? What am I missing here?

No, but you can publish your OCD book over and over.

聽說在國外淘一輛中古車非常的容易,到處都是,真想有一輛自己的車,哪怕是二手車也行。這樣就不用受聘于租車公司了。有這方面信息的請email我。
