Well there goes my PhD thesis topic. I have been thinking a lot about how language affects development, and wondering what else is out there in the literature. This would have been a nice love letter to my undergraduate English major. Well, I'm only in my first year so I have plenty of time to come up with something else.

The word=concept thing is basically wrong. But its a nice trope to use if you want to explain away complicated cultural differences.
