Tivo
From my office, I just programmed my home Tivo to record tonight's showing of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. Cool! But don't tell my boss what I do at work.

I am not writing this response during office hours.
I wrote a program before work to send it once you posted. Honest.

Your boss doesn't read your blog??

Funny, I did precisely the same thing today. Go Rudolph. Few things beat TiVo, especially now that you can download episodes directly to your desktop. Life is good.

Remote programming is the feature that finally prompted me to buy TiVo. It spoke to my inner geek. (Not that you have to dig very far to get there.)

lee,
No. Don Boudreaux is too busy writing his
own blog.
At least Tyler is not in danger of having
his tenure revoked. We do know that in
some places untenured faculty have had
problems for their blogging.

Good reminder - I just set my MythTV (open-source Tivo) box to get Rudolph for me!
